Matt Lane is the Founder & Creative Director behind Vive, a Phoenix based ad studio specializing in concept to screen commercials and brand films. With three decades of experience spanning writing, filmmaking, photography, and design, he approaches every project as a storyteller first, crafting visual narratives that connect with audiences in an oversaturated world.

A firm believer that great creative should elevate both brands and culture, Matt partners with companies that value authenticity over algorithms, substance over shortcuts. He is obsessed with creating work that breaks through the infinite feed while keeping budgets and timelines in check.

When he is not attempting to wrestle content from the cold, dead hands of focus grouped mediocrity, you will find him lost in classic and indie films, exploring the paradox of public privacy with street photography, or armchair traveling through old Bourdain episodes. He also enjoys real travel, as long as he is not seated next to someone who thinks they are hosting a podcast on the flight.

Art is his passion, advertising his guilty pleasure. He is the guy who watches the Super Bowl for the commercials and gets to the theater early for the trailers. In short, he is exactly the unapologetically eccentric creative you want leading your brand’s next standout campaign.
